The « Action pluri-annuelle » Cold Universe of Paris Observatory aims at supporting works between scientific teams working on the study of gas and dust physics in interstellar medium (Galactic and extragalactic) as well as planetary and circumstellar environments. One of the goals is to develop new activities at the interfaces between astrophysical disciplines, physics and chemistry, and statistical analysis.

- Physics and chemistry of the Interstellar Medium
- Star formation and feedbacks (radiative, jets, …)
- Physics and chemistry in extragalactic environments
- Physical and chemical processes studied in laboratory
- New statistical methods to manage large datasets produced by instruments and codes
